June Evening Exploration: Celebrating Pride Month
“Queer Whispers in Fairy-Land”
Daniel Chester French, a meticulous molder of monumental images, carefully crafted the public persona which helped him become one of the most successful American sculptors of his time. Dive beneath Daniel Chester French’s ‘straight-laced’ exterior to explore the ‘queer whispers’ he left behind for us to puzzle over.

“The Piccirilli Brothers”
Expert tour guide Nancy Sheridan explores Chesterwood through the lens of the
Piccirilli Brothers, whose masterful marble carving made them indispensable partners to Daniel Chester French.
